The Magical Birthday Month! : )

By the by, today is my little sister's birthday! And my best friend's, and that guy in Korea's . . . (purely coincidental) Tomorrow is my sister-in-law, Kim's! So September is indeed the magical birthday month! : ) Always look forward to it, every year! But not as much as December. . . Nothing really compares to the wonder and magic of Christmas. . . I can't wait to get started on the holiday collage of our kids' current pictures, to find the most spectacular cards, put the family Christmas letter together. . . : ) Mmmm. . . So much fun!

And yes indeedy, it was my birthday this month too. . . Yep! 29 and a half! For a couple more years at least. : ) We'll see how it goes. . .

Adolescent Shenanigans!

Last week I was getting sick of the teenagers and their 'exasperating eccentricities'.

Here's why:

Clint, while hanging around at the middle school after hours, apparently felt the need to 'punch a window'. (Understandably skeptical pause.) Yes, you heard correctly. I don't know if he meant the actual window, or the window frame, but for whatever reason, and who can figure out the mind of a 16 yr old boy, he thought it might be entertaining to crunch up his hand, and consequently, have HIS MOMMY make an extra trip to the doc to check it out. Fortunately, he'd only bruised it, as the x-ray showed no fractures. Clint thought the pictures very . . cool, until they told him that he was missing growth plates and probably wouldn't end up much taller than he is now. Part of me almost wanted to chuckle.  : )

Laena thought it would be fun to set up a blinking web cam on our computer, and chat with 20-year-old soldier boy, over in Korea, whom we've never met, with no permission. Don't care if 'they went to elementary school together', I'm pretty sure we said we'd get back to her. . Was she seriously kidding me?! I'm walking around in my jammies, and some infantry gets the up front, close and personal floor show?! Did I mention that she's underage. . ? How 'bout that for a newsflash that'll make you choke on your orange juice! Cough, choke, splutter. . . I don't think so.

While I was at the dentist's office last Wednesday, the little kids ate an entire cauldron of Halloween candy when Laena was babysitting. And it's not that I'm not grateful for her efforts. . I mean, I was very relieved that they were all alive, considering that Charlie had decided to stay at the office a bit later and study. . But it would have been nice, if, at the ripe old experienced age of 17, our girlypoo could maybe remember to curtail the collective sugar intake, (which WAS significant), during my rather brief absence. . . Sigh.

And I'd heard tale that Charlie had mentioned to Eric that it might be a good idea to take the tent down, since it'd been up for a week, and we had no real plans to snooze any more there in the back yard. Naturally, he forgot. Or didn't hear or whatever, and it RAINED for a couple of days. So of course we had to leave the tent up for almost another week so that it could dry out, air out, and wouldn't be moldy for next time. I know it's probably no shock to many of you, but this isn't the first time that this has happened. And that's okay! Just par for the course, right! You got it! : )

Some of you may have seen my little comment on Facebook about Tommy thawing out a bunch of cubed frozen elk . . with a blow dryer. Ha ha ha! It really wasn't too surprising. . . He's so much fun! So . . . creative! Just a barrel o' laughs. : ) He's taken to cooking a lot with . . meat. . . We love having Tommy around! Recently he's decided to build himself an Iron Man suit. I'm not sure, but I think he may want to fly. . . Because, as everyone knows, he has proclaimed himself a GENIUS! And everybody wants to fly. . . DUh-uh!

The New Mustache! : )

Charlie shaved off part of his goatee today. The good part.

Every time I look at him, I involuntarily burst out laughing. Hysterically.

I think he finds it a little bit irritating. He was looking for socks in the little kids' room, when Tommy and I sauntered in, grinning. Charlie was slightly . . annoyed.

"You people can't just come in here and laugh at me. ."

"What do you mean? Ya mean, look at you! Cause you're a work of art, Baby! HA ha ha ha ha! Or a glorious 'piece of work'. . ."

I leaned on Tommy. I needed support, tears were beginning to form behind my eyes. .

Charlie was less than amused.

"You know, I'm gonna come home, after I pick up the kids, and I am going to shave. And then I am going to bed."

"Okay, Honey! You know, a nap sounds great!"

"HA ha ha ha ha!"

We'll put pictures up later. . .

I can't put my finger on it, but my husband currently looks like a cross between Matlock, and All-American Boy! (From that movie Sky High.)

"Whooooo hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo! Hee hee hee hee heeeeee!" You'll have to see it to get the full effect.

And you know I love my man. . but Baby, this is one for the record books.  : )

Cookie Dough and Facebook

Laena just called, and said that she's getting a ride home with. . .

"Mom! I'm getting a ride home with Joseph Smith."

"Joseph Smith. . . Junior?"

"Yeah. Seriously!"

"I know, I know. . See ya."

There's this kid that goes to school with her, whose parents have actually named him Joseph Smith, Jr. This is a very honorable name, don't get me wrong. . . It's just that everyone who ever shakes hands with this guy will inevitably either make some sort of comment, or smile real big. After all, Joseph Smith was the best known LDS Prophet of our time! Hey, it's probably a fantastic conversation starter, a great way to break the ice! Wow.

On a different note, this Facebook thing is getting a little bit out of hand. I have been spending way too much time lately perusing the labyrinth that is FB. What a discovery! Like the one girl said: "I am bewildered by all that Facebook has to offer." No kidding. I find myself going throughout the day, thinking of things that I could write on the silly 'status' portion of the social utility that has recently plagued my life. . . I can't seem to get anything done. . It's really a great way to connect with old friends and classmates, to be sure, but boy, it sure doesn't help a person maintain. . any sort. . any reasonable level of efficiency. . . Forgive me, I'm exhausted.

Here's an example of what my day might look like on FB:

'Amy didn't have to walk Jeffy to school today because his tummy still hurts.

Amy does not like it when Charlie takes her car. (Dang piece of junk truck. . . )

Amy is making cornbread!

Amy forgot the eggs and had to start over. .

Amy isn't sure what to do with the enormous bag of popcorn that Eric brought home from the theatre. . .

Amy thinks it's funny that the boys' friends seem to find Charlie's truck, which sits/ lies dismembered/disassembled in our driveway, deceptively . . COOL. (Quote from the kid across the street: "I don't know what it is, but that's . . really cool!" Yeah. Go figure. Truck without a bed. .)

Amy is very tired.

Amy is in desperate need of a nap.

Amy will be very excited when ANY of these boys finally learns how to take out the trash without being asked.

Amy is so sick of Lincoln taking off his diaper. . .'

It goes on and on. . .

It is fun, but tends to be rather addicting. Or at best, extremely distracting. At least for some people. . . Like . . everybody I know. . .  : ) It's amazing that day-to-day business in America continues to go on, considering the number of people who have access to the Internet! If we really are having problems with the economy, I blame Facebook! Open-mouthed

P.S. Amy is way jazzed that Lincoln has apparently hit the 'almost-2-year-old naked phase'. . .

Amy is literally walking in her Grandmother's footsteps. (Grandpa gave me some shoes.)

Amy would very much like to take the day off!

Amy is vaguely concerned about the Primary Program on Sunday. Really should go over the music. .

Amy says "Elk! It's what's for dinner."  : )

Amy wants to snuggle with her hubby. Sigh. Give me sleep, beautiful sleep. . .

Amy's hubby has to fix the blinking fuel pump on the truck. There went my Friday night. . .

Amy let the kids skip piano lessons today, because she does not have her car. . .

Amy can't wait till Charlie gets home. .

Amy wishes Clint could find his other shoe. . .

Amy has mixed feelings about Laena hauling home all that cookie dough from the fundraiser.

Amy would have liked the boys to smile, not grimace, for their school pictures. Sigh. (This is truly an eye-roller. Wish you could see 'em.)

Amy wants to go to Europe with her man! (Whimper, whimper, sob.)

Amy ain't babysitting nobody else's kids! (Turns out only 3 or 4 of them came over today.) Disappointed

Amy wishes Tommy would drag himself out of bed in time for school, just ONCE.

Amy misses her cousins.

Amy would like certain irritating friends to call her BACK!

Amy was sure Jenny was kidding about her neighbor being the artist who created the world famous Christus statue, until she and Charlie passed their living room window. . . Amazing. . .

Amy is pretty sure that Aleia is organizing another neighborhood Halloween party, again without pre-authorization.

Amy iszzz. . .zzzzzzzz. . .

Birthday Surprises!

Saturday, my little familia was having fun, trying to figure out cute things to do for my birthday. I used to downplay the whole thing, but the last couple of years, I've decided to just enjoy it. Aleia and company drew "Happy Birthday" up, down, and sideways, on our front porch, and walk. : ) Eric and Tommy, with great pomp and secrecy, melted some chocolate on the stove and made me a candy wreath in the bundt pan. I caught glimpses of a hundred or so Hershey's miniature candy bar wrappers, naturally with almonds, in the kitchen trash.

Saturday morning, at a neighborhood breakfast, we were surprised by our good friends Emory and Caralee, when they invited us to the BYU Football Game down at Cougar Stadium in Provo. Didn't have ask me twice. . Wahoo! I'm the biggest BYU fan there is! We had a blast! Especially since it was a freaking SHUT OUT against UCLA. : ) 59 - ZIP! Ha ha ha! Yeah, Baby!

Then yesterday Charlie presented me with a beautiful card, (I love cards), some flowers, and an unbelievably decadent triple chocolate cake from Costco. Sigh. I'll never get skinny at this rate. I wonder if I'll ever be in shape again. . . Ha ha ha! At this point, I don't care. . . Hmmmm! I'm too happy and too in love with lasagna to worry about it.

(Also, it's soooo adorable when Charlie tries to write my name fancy on the envelope. . .)  : )

We had a very nice weekend. I do love September, the magical birthday month! : ) 'Most all the girls in my family were born in September. . . cakeI love fall! Here it comes. . . my favorite time of year - Countdown to Christmas!  : ) Everything about Autumn is fun! Halloween, with cute little costumes, candy, pictures. . Thanksgiving, when the whole family gets together, and then the best of them all, Christmas, with all it's winter magic and holiday sparkle! Yep, life is good!  ; )

And with Charlie, it only gets better!

God Help Us

"Palin has stated that she is for letting the states decide. Unfortunately in the state of Missouri we can't even get legislation passed that would at least make a woman see an ultrasound before making her decision.
Liberty is this country has never been without boundaries. There are many laws in place which limit liberty for the common good.
Thus the argument of a woman's right to choose and that overturning Roe vs. Wade would trounce individual liberties are ridiculous fallacies. First, no human being should have the "right" to end the life of another human being. Period. Secondly, how come a woman's supposed right to choose trumps an innocent child's right to life?
Ghastly partial-birth abortions are perhaps the most horrible atrocity in this matter. A nurse recounted a baby who survived an abortion. Because she couldn't stand the thought of the baby dying alone, she held the baby in her arms in a janitors closet until the baby died. This is okay in America?"

Again, I found this quote on Sarah's Facebook fan site. This type of horrifying, mind-numbing atrocity has got to stop. Or at least stop being LEGAL. Here in our country. The United States of America. I am sickened. We have got to band together. Please help me save these innocent children.

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

I'd just like to start with LIFE.

What can we do? Well, for starters we can vote Palin.

Choice

"Freedom to choose... Hmmm... using your own logic, everything is relative, and if I decide to shoot you or anyone else in the head, then I'm perfectly justified, and no one should be able to say anything negative about my choice. The only differences between this scenario and abortion are that babies are both perfectly innocent and completely defenseless. Brilliant..."

Indeed.

And that, my friends, hits the nail right on the head.

Found this fantastic quote earlier today. . . There is no rebuttal.

Sarah Palin!

I'm so excited about the election! I can hardly wait for voting day! Of course, it is fun to watch all the arguing, the debating. . . fist fights. . .  : )

It's just so refreshing, to finally have a strong, bright light on the horizon. That light being Governor Sarah Palin. Her fortitude, her determination, her perfect track record. . . It's all just . . inspiring. : )

And she's one of us! She's a well rounded, normal, but also strong, confident and capable. . woman/not-so-average citizen. I couldn't admire her more!

And now we have hope! Hope and change! How fantastic is THAT! Tee hee hee. I still can't get over the picture of Hillary fuming into her mid-afternoon cocktail. . in the wake of . . SARAH. That's right Baby! I think the choice is now clear. Obvious, in fact! Before, there was darkness, skepticism, concern. . . Now, there is Sarah Palin, Governor. And future Veep of the United States of America! I can hardly contain/cannot adequately express my delight when I think of John McCain's reserved, yet energetic running mate. What a fantastically wise move on the part of the Republican Campaign! Didn't see that one coming, did ja, Angry Left! : )

The election is set, as it has been for months. One of these 2 guys . . is going to win. Before, we weren't sure . . for whom we should vote. . . There wasn't a crystal clear choice.

Hmmmm. . .

Now, we've finally figured it out. NOW, it's obvious that John McCain, with steady, experienced, cool as a cucumber, (but feisty as any hockey mom), Sarah Palin backing him up, will do just fine. Certainly far better than this inexperienced dark prince guy who thinks it's okay to attack fellow candidate's children, and to call good women, mothers . . . pigs.

YOU decide. I'm pretty sure America is sooooo much smarter than that.

Go John and Sarah!

Rushing Through My Day. .

Well, a lot has been happening recently, as maybe you can tell. . I've definitely been slacking off on the blogging. . .

Most of it has involved a ream or so of paper work (gag) thrown my way from the . . just fabulous Jordan School District. Disgusted pause. As if I didn't have enough to do without all that extra silliness! I've learned, over the years, to just throw most of it away! : ) Also, we've been dealing with EVERYBODY'S blinking school pictures, including Laena's ultra-fantasic Senior pictures, (aahh!) which have cost us an arm and a leg. And what with fees, and lunch money, class rings, graduation announcements etc, we're feeling a little strained financially. It happens every year. . . Grrrrr.

More news, my Grandpa fell a couple of times, over the weekend, so we're gonna go down and visit him again tonight. He doesn't think he's gonna last much longer. For his sake, I hope he doesn't. I don't think he's having a whole lot of fun.

Charlie's sister called yesterday, naturally while Charlie was at a class and I couldn't get a hold of him, to tell us that his step dad had had a mini-stroke, or something similar, and was now in the hospital. Argh! He's such a nice guy! And he's been taking such good care of Charlie's mother. . . I just don't see how this is going to help anything. . . Well, actually, since C's brother Calvin happened to be up there, and is now thinking of moving in with the 2 of them, to help out with the farm and recovery etc, I guess it could be a good thing. All of them together. . . I suppose it's nice of Calvin and his wife to want to move up there and help out. . Charlie and I turned down the restaurant in Blackfoot years ago, and honestly, in spite of my fetish for real estate, I'd rather die than live in bohunk Idaho, up there in the middle of nowhere. . . So maybe this is turning out for the best after all. . . We'll seeee!  : ) I do hope Lynn is doing better, and that he will be okay. He's been a great help to Charlie's family these last few years. Sigh. Poor guy.

Anyway, on a totally different note. . . (and p.s. I do love Idaho Falls), our neighbor Steve brought home, and installed, a blinking full sized concrete fountain in his front yard over the weekend. He's a handyman who can do just about anything, former plumber even! You name it! Oh yeah Baby! Saturday he gave our neighborhood a little twist, surprised us all when he pulled up to his house with this fountain in the back of his truck. I guess he has some clients who are fairly well off, and while he was doing some landscaping recently, tearing out the fountain, building a pool or whatever, the guy he was working for told him to just keep it. Ha HA! Pretty cool, eh! : ) Cool for us! Now all we have to do is look out our front window, and there it is! A little slice of Italy! (Deep sigh of satisfaction and delight.) (I may cry.) I love stuff like that. . . And he's got it rigged to recycle fresh water all day! Just to the right of the Koi pond he's put in. What a guy! We just have to open a window to hear it gently bubbling and splashing. . .  Open-mouthed Hee hee hee! What they have done to that yard!

Also, Steve just re-did their kitchen. (I squeak with a delighted chuckle.) I can't wait to see what he's gonna do next!

Moving on, more trivia, yesterday, while Charlie was at that class, the Comcast guy showed up to change over our phone service. I was a little annoyed, being as my loving husband had forgotten to mention that this was going to happen. . . but the technician turned out to be a really nice guy, who did a good job, and now we have . . apparently, digital phone service! We'll see how it goes. . . Let everybody know. Whatever!

Laena's working at McDonald's again, which makes sense considering the proximity to our house, school, church, etc. It's in walking distance! Which will really help out with gas money and time spent. Try it sometime! "What?" you ask? Why, driving 5 miles across town, and crossing the freeway at rush hour! Kinda puts a dent in your day. And yes, I would prefer that she work somewhere else, but they work with her Choir/music/activity schedule, so what're ya gonna do?  Thinking

Aaahhh! Gotta go pick up Jeffy! Later!  : )

Grandpa and 'Conventional Wisdom'

Last night I missed the Republican National Convention, because I'd promised to go down to Springville, to visit my aging Grandpa. He's 90 years old, and is weak and ailing. It's hard for me to see him like that. Not too many years ago, he was a tall, strapping, healthy older man. Since then, he's gradually weakened, and become more and more frail. Now, he's growing thinner and weaker every day, it seems. . . and there's nothing that I can do about it. As established as the aging process is, as much as we all understand it, I am just not prepared to deal with this personally, to see this happen to my grandparents. I'm having a hard time with their imminent passing, and have been unpredictably emotional about the whole thing. It's different when it's personal to you. Or to your close relatives. Heavy sigh.

When we got there to Grandpa's house, (I took 2 of the boys), and asked him how he was doing, he greeted us with some traditional small talk, and then:

"Well, I just sit here in my wheel chair all day, and wait for it all to be over. . . "

I ask you, what do you say to THAT? Talk about cutting out the pretense. I think he misses Grandma, and all his friends. . . Ouch.

He wanted us to go through some of my Grandmother's things, to see if there was anything we could use. . She has a lot of shoes, jewelry, make-up, etc, and I just couldn't go through it all, in just a couple of hours, with him sitting there watching. As if that was my intent anyway. . . Sigh. I do miss my Grandma. I was very upset when she passed away a couple of months ago. More than I had expected to be. I mean, when someone is 91 years old, and she's ill, and going downhill fast, you know, in your head, that . . she's probably not going to be around much longer. But when it actually happens, when they actually leave you, it's a whole different ball game, emotionally. Aaarrrgghhh!

We chatted for a while, me and Grandpa, while the boys flipped through channels on the TV in the next room, and ran around in the backyard. He said that Grandma had bought all this stuff because she thought it would make her happy, but it didn't work. He told me that she had been 'quite despondent' there toward the end. Painful pause. Then we talked about his personal history, that my dad is putting together. Grandpa had recently dictated it to him. I told him I was excited to read it. He told me that there was nothing real glamorous about it, just mostly common everyday stuff. . . . It kind of puts it all into perspective, doesn't it? What's really important in life, I mean. It sure ain't all the baubles. . . All of that's just stuff. Looks like it's all about . . the love. The love in our hearts for the people we love, if we have known love, and given love. That's about it. Sigh. What a revelation. Of course we all know this already, we just lose sight of this knowledge occasionally. . . We forget. I hope that I can remember.

Before we left Grandpa showed me the printout for his and Grandma's combined headstone. Their mutual monument. It was slightly disconcerting to me, matter of fact to him. I think he's looking forward to death, and the comfort it will bring him. Honestly, like my unbelievably wise husband has said: There is value in death. No more suffering, no more loneliness. . . What else can I say? I hope Grandpa will be happy, up there with Grandma, reunited sooner rather than later. . . I hope that he won't have to suffer for very long.

On a different note, earlier this morning, I watched the Republican National Convention, or at least some of the speeches that were given, on U-Tube. Jeffy jeffy jeffy (He wanted to type his name)  : ) I was impressed and inspired by the amazing phenomenon that is Sarah Palin! They just don't make 'em like her anymore! Or maybe. . they do! : ) I thoroughly enjoyed listening to hers and everyone else's common sense, old time values approach to everything. It was like a breath of fresh air. Especially after all the nonsensical garbage that the leftist liberal media has been throwing at her and at us, at all the good prospective candidates. Seriously, can you imagine going after a candidate's children like they've been doing?! Clearly, the mostly evil media is almost exclusively liberal, and therefore bias. Also, clearly they have nothing else! It's really rather amusing. Sarah Palin is a powerhouse of moral fiber, virtuous womanhood, and practical experience that the 'angry left' just can't go up against. They got nothin'! And that my friends, is why I can say with all confidence: Checkmate Baby, CHECK MATE. And like I said on Facebook, it's about time our party, and I mean the conservative party, finally started playing better chess and brought out the white queen. And I make no reference to race. Condoleeza Rice is my favorite person on the planet, next to family. When I say 'white', I mean 'without a hidden agenda', a clean, fair and square, in your face, hard working, makin' in happen point guard - giving you the old SLAM DUNK! That's right Baby! We're gonna WIN! And 'we're gonna take back Washington from all the crazy people there, who are only concerned with pretense, and who can't seem to figure out that we need to make use of our own resources, polar bear or no polar bear! No more traditional Washington 'game playing' for you.

Put THAT in your soda can and drink it!

Bring out the pitchforks everybody, cause the GAME is BACK ON.

First Day of School!

Yesterday was a very. . long. . day. Sigh. It was Jeffy's first day of Kindergarten. I had been stewing about this all week, because our school, last year, decided to implement 'all-day-Kindergarten', and I was not, and still am not happy about this at all.

When I was in Kindergarten, not only did we go just half the day, we also had naptime, in addition to recess and playtime. . . How ever did they fit this in, I ask you, what with all the stringent academic demands we had to meet?! Ridiculous. What was really upsetting was how they had set up the curriculum, there at our neighborhood school. It became very clear, last week, when we went in to meet Jeffy's teacher, that full-day K was being pushed on the residents of our community. . blatantly, and inappropriately. You decide. Here's how it was set up. All of the hard-core 'core' stuff, reading, writing, worksheets, etc were scheduled for the morning hours, with no recess; and then all the fun stuff was in the afternoon! Like music and centers and recess, playtime, and even math! I didn't get it either. There could be only one explanation. The people over at the elementary school, the teacher, the principal, the district, SOMEBODY, was trying to force parents to make their 5 year old children, fresh out of 2-day-a week preschool, go to school all day long, every day, whether they liked it or not. I mean, what were our choices? Have our toddler, (and yes even stores recognize Kindergartners as toddlers, hence the '5T' sizes on clothing), be bored senseless by sitting, and doing worksheets for 3 hours, if we chose the morning K option, or transfer him to another school where this type of torture was not inflicted. Naturally, our school didn't offer afternoon Kindergarten. . .

I tried to get Jeffy into another school, and I'd even talked to a friend about their's and the fantastic program that was offered, but it turned out that everything close was full, (obviously for good reason), or I just didn't know enough about it. So here I am, faced with the dilemma: Home school, or . . . home school. Private school is really out of the question at this point. So after crying into a dishtowel on my couch for an hour or so, I got over it and decided to play tough cookie. I also said a prayer, which absolutely explains the rapid rectification of the problem. : ) Simply enough, I called the principal, and talked to her about the teacher and her proposed curriculum. I called the district, and left a message for the man in charge of these types of situations. Apparently they didn't like the word 'discrimination', because, in spite of my very savvy and experienced neighbor's skeptical analysis, (stating that the chances of them doing anything about this, or even considering a morning recess were 'slim to none'), the principal called me back, and had me talk to the teacher, with whom she had just had a conference, and who had, interestingly, just been convinced to change some things around, to adjust her morning schedule so as to offer a more reasonable educational experience for those children who had chosen to attend morning Kindergarten! I was rather surprised, and very grateful, when I considered from Whom these new ideas undoubtedly must have come. (Reverent pause.) The district guy, when he called me back later on, was excited that the people at the school had worked it out themselves, although I'm sure Bill Gebhardt would've been gratified to publicize my story. . . . Well, you never know. . . : )

It's funny, Jeffy's been sort of nervous for a week or so now, because of school starting. He's been snuggling in our bed with us almost every night, and has kind of gone back and forth on being excited about Kindergarten, or not excited about Kindergarten. . . But when I went to pick him up just before lunch yesterday, he whined and threw a small fit about having to go home. Sigh. I had to roll my eyes a little. After all that! But then, after staying to have lunch with his sister, we discovered a confused little boy, standing up against the brick retaining wall outside of the lunchroom, all alone and sobbing because he "wanted to go home". I asked him if he was in Kindergarten, and he said, more than once. "No, I'm in school." I walked the poor little guy back to the lunchroom so he wouldn't get lost, and the other K teacher was nothing but annoyed about his concerns. Then today when I went to pick Jefferson up, he was a bit tired. "I was wondering what was taking you so long. . ." he said as we loaded up his backpack. It had been less than 3 hours. I was proud to be the only Mommy, with the exception of maybe one or two from the other class next door, to pick up her kidlet before lunch! All day Kindergarten a good idea? I don't think so.
